The City and Union agree that no person employed or applying for employment shall in any way be discriminated against because of race, color, creed, religion, sex, national origin, physical handicap, physical disability, age, political affiliation or opinion, sexual orientation, gender identity, marital status, or other non-merit factors, nor shall a person be the subject of sexual harassment as prohibited by State or Federal law, or be subject to illegal harassment.
