Common use of No Strike Clause in Contracts

No Strike. 4.1 Neither the Union, its officers or agents, nor any of the employees covered by this Agreement will engage in, encourage, sanction or support any strike, or the withholding in whole or in part of the full performance of their duties during the life of this Agreement, except as specifically allowed by the Public Employment Labor Relations Act. In the event of a violation of this Article, the County will warn employees of the consequences of their action and shall instruct them to immediately return to their normal duties. Any employee who fails to return to their full duties within twenty-four (24) hours of such warning may be subject to the penalties provided in the Public Employment Labor Relations Act. 4.2 No lockout shall be instituted by the Employer and/or its appointing authorities during the term of this contract.
