NOISE & VIBRATION CONTROL - GENERAL Sample Clauses

NOISE & VIBRATION CONTROL - GENERAL. In addition to insulation requirements, generator and exhaust mounting details provided in this specification and shown on the contract drawings, the Contractor shall implement the following control measures to ensure the target criteria are satisfied: • Effective noise barrier around high noise spaces to prevent noise transmission to adjacent spaces, and sound absorbing material around high noise spaces, to reduce contribution of reverberant noise within the space. • Install vibration isolators for all diesel generators and rotating machinery such as pumps and fans in order to reduce noise and vibration transmission through the structure. • Provide flexible mounting of ventilation and other service lines. • Ensuring that all pipe and duct joints are tight and that all penetrations through spaces are sealed. • All pipe connections to the engines and generators should be of the flexible type. • Use of low noise components, e.g. tighter tolerances. • Ensure the natural frequencies of the foundations of hard mounted equipment to be at least 30 percent greater than the disturbing frequencies of the equipment. • Ensure that the local stiffness of the foundation supporting the resilient mounts to be at least 10 times the stiffness of the isolator it supports to result in adequate vibration isolation. • Ensure that the natural frequencies of the resilient mount systems be sufficiently far from the disturbing frequencies (at least 30 percent of the nearest mode). If this condition cannot be satisfied, the vibrational force transmission to the foundation should be studied in greater detail and corrective measures taken to meet an acceptable isolation performance. The barge and crane shall undergo testing and trials in accordance with Section E of the contract. C200 ARRANGEMENTS

  • Noise The Hirer shall ensure that the minimum of noise is made on arrival and departure, particularly late at night and early in the morning. The Hirer shall, if using sound amplification equipment, make use of any noise limitation device provided at the premises and comply with any other licensing condition for the premises.

  • Uncontrollable Forces Tariff Provisions Section 14.1 of the CAISO Tariff shall be incorporated by reference into this Agreement except that all references in Section 14.1 of the CAISO Tariff to Market Participants shall be read as a reference to the Participating Generator and references to the CAISO Tariff shall be read as references to this Agreement.

  • Volunteer Firefighting Leave Leave without pay will be granted when an employee who is a volunteer firefighter is called to duty to respond to a fire, natural disaster or medical emergency.

  • Virus Management DST shall maintain a malware protection program designed to deter malware infections, detect the presence of malware within DST environment.

  • Noise Abatement Contractor shall operate, conduct, or construct without violating the City’s Noise Abatement Ordinance codified in the SDMC.

  • Reactive Power and Primary Frequency Response 9.6.1 Power Factor Design Criteria

  • Erosion Control a. The Purchaser shall construct slash and debris erosion barriers, dips, water bars or ditches in skid trails and landings as directed by the Forest Officer. b. The kinds and frequency of erosion control structures shall be adjusted to soil types, topography and climatic conditions as directed by the Forest Officer. c. The Purchaser is required to recontour any excavated skid trails, and provide for effective erosion control in the trail location as directed by the Forest Officer. d. Erosion control work shall commence as soon as skidding is completed on each skid trail or landing, and must be kept current with unit operations. e. Erosion control work shall be completed and approved by the Forest Officer in unfinished units before operations cease for inactive periods including heavy winter snowfall, spring breakup and restricted dates. f. All erosion control work in each unit shall be completed prior to notification pursuant to Section VII.M.7.

  • Pressure The System user is not entitled to deliver natural gas to Gas Connect Austria at the Entry Point Xxxxxxxxxx WAG at a pressure of below 49 bar. Normal cubic meter (Nm³) is a cubic meter of natural gas at 273.15 K (= 0°C) and 101,325 kPa (=1.01325 bara). The natural gas delivered by the System User at the Entry Point Xxxxxxxxxx WAG for transportation must be in line with the following chemical and physical specifications:

  • NOISE/WASTE The Tenant agrees not to commit waste on the premises, maintain, or permit to be maintained, a nuisance thereon, or use, or permit the premises to be used, in an unlawful manner. The Tenant further agrees to abide by any and all local, county, and State noise ordinances.

  • Temperature Measurement Temperature will be measured by the nearest automatic Melbourne Bureau of Meteorology Monitoring Station for example (but not limited to): Melbourne, Moorabbin, Dunns Hill, Melbourne Airport, Frankston, and Point Xxxxxx. At the commencement of each project, the onsite management and employee representatives shall agree which is to be the applicable automatic weather monitoring station.
