Non-Contractual Compensation per Work Hour. Non-contractual compensation per work hour (also referred to as the “non-contractual hourly rate”) shall be calculated by dividing annual salary at the applicable class and step by 1408 (the number of work hours in a standard 176-day contractual assignment), and multiplying by the pay parity factor of 0.7075: non-contractual compensation per hour = (annual salary/1408) x 0.7075 The hourly rate resulting from this formula shall be rounded to the nearest xxxxx. Throughout this Agreement, references to “the applicable non-contractual hourly rate” mean the non-contractual compensation per work hour for the faculty member’s class and step. Refer to Appendix 7.2 for a table of current non-contractual hourly compensation by class and step.

  • Shift Differential Compensation Any employee in the bargaining unit whose assigned work shift commences (for unit-1) prior to 5:30 a.m. or whose work shift ends after 5:30 p.m., or (for unit-2 members) commences after 2:00 p.m. shall be paid a shift differential premium of five (5%) percent above the regular rate of pay for all hours worked.

  • TERMINATION ALLOWANCE In the event of closure of all or part of the Employer’s retail store, which results in the permanent lay-off of any employees, the employer agrees to pay each employee so affected, in accordance with Company policy, the following: • Less than one (1) completed year of service: according to Employment Standards (if any). • A year or more but less than five (5) completed years of service: one (1) week’s pay for each completed year of service. • More than five (5) completed years of service: five (5) weeks for the first five (5) years of service plus one and a half (1.5) weeks per completed year of service for each subsequent year up to a maximum of thirty (30) weeks in total.

  • Maximum Compensation There is a maximum compensation for this Agreement and a separate maximum compensation for each Approved Service Order.

  • CONTRACTUAL WORK The right of contracting or sub-contracting is vested in the Board. The right to contract or sub-contract shall not be used for the purpose of undermining the Union or to discriminate against any of its members, nor shall use of contracting or sub-contracting result in the reduction of the present work force as is now in effect, or in the event of the extension of service shall contracting or sub-contracting be used to avoid the performance of work covered under this Agreement.
