Common use of NON-DISCRIMINATION Clause in Contracts

NON-DISCRIMINATION. The County’s policies of equal opportunity and non-discrimination are intended to assure equal opportunities to every person, regardless of race, religion, sex, color, age, disability or national origin, in securing or holding employment in a field of work or labor for which the person is qualified, as provided and enforced by Section 17-314 of the Orange County Code and the County’s relevant Administrative Regulations. It is also the county policy that person(s) doing business with the County shall recognize and comply with this policy and that the County shall not extend public funds or resources in a manner as would encourage, perpetuate or xxxxxx discrimination.
