Non-instructional Hours. Most of the non-Instructional contact occurs within the services and functions of the support and Student Service areas such as but not limited to counseling, library, learning centers, Health Centers, and/or support programs such DSPS and EOPS. Non-Instructional hours include activities where faculty normally interact with students within an office, center and, or other specified area or services of the college where the contact between faculty and students does not normally generate FTE.

Non-instructional Hours. Xxxxx worked for assigned non-instructional work are calculated based on hours worked for assignments such as advising, curriculum development, supervision, and portfolio review, as determined by the University.
Non-instructional Hours. During the first week of quarters two (2) and four (4) (student onboarding process), unit members shall provide a minimum of the following student support services: five (5) hours of live instruction; three (3) hours homeroom onboarding; and two (2) hours content onboarding. Each year the employee calendar shall include 5 non-instructional days between the first and second semester for the purpose of completing non-instructional duties, including but not limited to: work records, course closure, and course set-up. Unit Members will not be required to complete professional development requirements, staff meetings or other events scheduled by administration during this time. Courses access and student information will be provided to teachers prior to the time provided set-up their courses. Teachers are entitled to one (1) hour 60 minutes of instructional planning time each work day.

  • Reliance on Instructions The Custodian shall be entitled to rely upon any Instruction, notice or other instrument in writing received by the Custodian and reasonably believed by the Custodian to be genuine and to be signed by an Authorized Person of the Series. Where the Custodian is issued Instructions orally, the Series acknowledge that if written confirmation is requested, the validity of the transactions or enforceability of the transactions authorized by the Series shall not be affected if such confirmation is not received or is contrary to oral Instructions given. In following Instructions, the Custodian shall be fully protected and shall not be liable for the acts or omissions of any person or entity not selected or retained by the Custodian in its sole discretion, including but not limited to, any broker-dealer or other entity designated by the Fund or Authorized Person to hold Assets of the account as collateral or otherwise pursuant to an investment strategy.

All hours worked by permanent part-time employees beyond their specified number of hours will be treated as additional hours for the purpose of this subclause. From time to time, employees may be required to work a reasonable amount of additional hours. All additional hours worked will be paid in accordance with this Agreement.
