Health Centers. All health centers together constitute one unit provided that inside per diems have preference for prescheduled per diem shifts at the health center where they are regularly employed. Outside P103's will only be assigned to a health center to which they have been oriented, except in a critical staffing situation.

Health Centers. A School-Based Health Center (SBHC) is an Article 28 extension clinic that is located in a school and provides students with primary and preventive physical and mental health care services, acute or first contact care, chronic care, and referral as needed. SBHC services include comprehensive physical and mental health histories and assessments, diagnosis and treatment of acute and chronic illnesses, screenings (e.g., vision, hearing, dental, nutrition, TB), routine management of chronic diseases (e.g., asthma, diabetes), health education, mental health counseling and/or referral, immunizations and physicals for working papers and sports. Health Centers. Today the Villa Cochabamba health district has eight auxiliary nurses, the Xxxx Roja health district has six, and Distrito 2 has three. When the population of each health district and the number of auxiliary nurses is taken into account, each auxiliary nurse is in charge of about 2,300 residents. The supervisor of the Montero program reports that each auxiliary nurse is responsible for an average of 3,000 people. Since about 2009, there is one vigilante in each health district. Hence, in the beginning of program, the community-based health work, namely household visitation, was carried out by CHVs and all CSRA staff, then it was carried out by CHVs and auxiliary nurses, and since 2009 the auxiliary nurses do the large majority of the community-based health work. The Villa Cochabamba Health Center has three doctors, Xxxx Roja has four doctors and two part-time dentists, and Distrito 2 has one doctor. The Villa Cochabamba Health Center also provides ophthalmology services. Once a week three ophthalmologists come on a separate day to give consultations, but they do not perform surgery. The Xxxx Roja Health Center opened up a maternity xxxx in 2011 for low-risk deliveries. Construction of the maternity xxxx started in 2004, but the Center was not able to admit patients until 2011 when the new mayor agreed to pay for the salaries of the staff. The municipal government pays for all deliveries at this maternity xxxx through its health insurance program for women. A newspaper article on the opening of the maternity xxxx said that this satisfied one of Xxxxxxx‘s greatest needs due to the overcrowded conditions and lower quality of care at the city hospital (Xxxxxx Xxxxxx, 2011). The equipping of the maternity xxxx was funded by CSRA, the municipal government, and donors from the U.S. (Xxxxxx Xxxxxx, 2011). The maternity xxxx accepts women from outside the CSRA service area.
Health Centers. Patients shall have access to Services at Health Centers listed in Exhibit B. Everside shall be responsible for the maintenance of the Health Centers.

  • Health Care Operations “Health Care Operations” shall have the same meaning as the term “health care operations” in 45 CFR §164.501.

  • Health Overcoming or managing one’s disease(s) as well as living in a physically and emotionally healthy way;

  • Health Services At the time of employment and subject to (b) above, full credit for registered professional nursing experience in a school program shall be given. Full credit for registered professional nursing experience may be given, subject to approval by the Human Resources Division.   • Healthcare Section 1. Bargaining unit employees with one (1) year or more of service will be provided coverage for the duration of this contract through the “Full Coverage” Team Care Plan (“Team Care MM200”), which includes dental, vision, life, short term disability, medical and prescription drug benefits. Prior to January 1, 2020, bargaining unit employees with less than one (1) year of service will be provided coverage through the “Medical Only” plan. On January 1, 2020, all bargaining unit employees enrolled in the Medical Only plan shall be enrolled in the Full Coverage plan, and the Medical Only plan will eliminated.   • Health Care The Company will reimburse the Executive for the cost of maintaining continuing health coverage under COBRA for a period of no more than 12 months following the date of termination, less the amount the Executive is expected to pay as a regular employee premium for such coverage. Such reimbursements will cease if the Executive becomes eligible for similar coverage under another benefit plan.

  • Hospital This plan covers behavioral health services if you are inpatient at a general or specialty hospital. See Inpatient Services in Section 3 for additional information. This plan covers services at behavioral health residential treatment facilities, which provide: • clinical treatment; • medication evaluation management; and • 24-hour on site availability of health professional staff, as required by licensing regulations. This plan covers intermediate care services, which are facility-based programs that are: • more intensive than traditional outpatient services; • less intensive than 24-hour inpatient hospital or residential treatment facility services; and • used as a step down from a higher level of care; or • used a step-up from standard care level of care. Intermediate care services include the following: • Partial Hospital Program (PHP) – PHPs are structured and medically supervised day, evening, or nighttime treatment programs providing individualized treatment plans. A PHP typically runs for five hours a day, five days per week. • Intensive Outpatient Program (IOP) – An IOP provides substantial clinical support for patients who are either in transition from a higher level of care or at risk for admission to a higher level of care. An IOP typically runs for three hours per day, three days per week.

  • Clinical Management for Behavioral Health Services (CMBHS) System 1. request access to CMBHS via the CMBHS Helpline at (000) 000-0000. 2. use the CMBHS time frames specified by System Agency. 3. use System Agency-specified functionality of the CMBHS in its entirety. 4. submit all bills and reports to System Agency through the CMBHS, unless otherwise instructed.

  • Childcare 8.1. One third credit shall be given where a teacher resigns or takes leave from the New Zealand teaching service in order to care for her/his own children provided that the teacher was a certificated teacher (or equivalent) at the time of resigning or taking leave, otherwise no credit will be given.

  • Behavioral Health Services Behavioral health services include the evaluation, management, and treatment for a mental health or substance use disorder condition. For the purpose of this plan, substance use disorder does not include addiction to or abuse of tobacco and/or caffeine. Mental health or substance use disorders are those that are listed in the most updated volume of either: • the Diagnostic and Statistical Manual of Mental Disorders (DSM) published by the American Psychiatric Association; or • the International Classification of Disease Manual (ICD) published by the World Health Organization. This plan provides parity in benefits for behavioral healthcare services. Please see Section 10 for additional information regarding behavioral healthcare parity.   • HEALTH PROGRAM 3701 Health examinations required by the Employer shall be provided by the Employer and shall be at the expense of the Employer. 3702 Time off without loss of regular pay shall be allowed at a time determined by the Employer for such medical examinations and laboratory tests, provided that these are performed on the Employer’s premises, or at a facility designated by the Employer. 3703 With the approval of the Employer, a nurse may choose to be examined by a physician of her/his own choice, at her/his own expense, as long as the Employer receives a statement as to the fitness of the nurse from the physician. 3704 Time off for medical and dental examinations and/or treatments may be granted and such time off, including necessary travel time, shall be chargeable against accumulated income protection benefits.
