Nondiscrimination in Employment and Services. Contractor shall not discriminate against any employee or person served on account of age, sex (including pregnancy, childbirth, or related medical conditions), gender, race, color, religion, national origin, ancestry, citizenship status, military and veteran status, marital status, sexual orientation, gender identification, genetic information, medical condition, FMLA/CFRA eligibility, or any disability protected by state and federal law. Furthermore, Contractor shall prohibit all forms of discrimination and/or harassment, including verbal, physical, visual, or written. Contractor shall prohibit retaliation as defined by City’s Anti- Discrimination, Harassment, and Retaliation Policy. Upon receipt of evidence of such discrimination, harassment, or retaliation, City shall have the right to terminate this Agreement. Contractor shall perform all services covered by this Agreement in accordance with the City’s Title VI Statement of Policy and City’s adopted BurbankBus Program to Meet Title VI Requirements of the Civil Rights Act of 1964. Failure to perform services in accordance with these programs is grounds to terminate this Agreement.

Upon receipt of evidence of such discrimination, City shall have the right to terminate this Agreement.
Nondiscrimination in Employment and Services. By signing this agreement, Contractor certifies that under the laws of the United States and the State of California, incorporated into this agreement by reference and made a part hereof as if set forth in full, Contractor shall not unlawfully discriminate against any person.

  • Nondiscrimination in Employment Consultant shall not discriminate against any employee or applicant for employment on any basis prohibited by law. Contractor shall provide equal opportunity in all employment practices. Consultants shall ensure that their subcontractors comply with this program. Nothing in this Section shall be interpreted to hold a Consultant liable for any discriminatory practice of its subcontractors.

  • EMPLOYMENT DISCRIMINATION BY CONTRACTOR PROHIBITED During the performance of this Contract, the Contractor agrees as follows:

  • Non-Discrimination in Benefits Grantee does not as of the date of this Agreement and will not during the term of this Agreement, in any of its operations in San Francisco or where the work is being performed for the City or elsewhere within the United States, discriminate in the provision of bereavement leave, family medical leave, health benefits, membership or membership discounts, moving expenses, pension and retirement benefits or travel benefits, as well as any benefits other than the benefits specified above, between employees with domestic partners and employees with spouses, and/or between the domestic partners and spouses of such employees, where the domestic partnership has been registered with a governmental entity pursuant to state or local law authorizing such registration, subject to the conditions set forth in Section 12B.2(b) of the San Francisco Administrative Code.

  • Nondiscrimination and Equal Opportunity Consultant shall not discriminate, on the basis of a person’s race, religion, color, national origin, age, physical or mental handicap or disability, medical condition, marital status, sex, or sexual orientation, against any employee, applicant for employment, subcontractor, bidder for a subcontract, or participant in, recipient of, or applicant for any services or programs provided by Consultant under this Agreement.   • NON-DISCRIMINATION IN HIRING AND EMPLOYMENT Competitive Supplier agrees to conduct its operations and activities under this ESA in accordance with all applicable state and federal laws regarding non-discrimination in hiring and employment of employees.

  • Employment of Disabled Workers The Union and the Employer acknowledge their obligations to accommodate certain individuals under the Human Rights Code of Ontario and agrees that this Collective Agreement will be interpreted in such a way as to permit those obligations to be discharged.
