Notary Pay. ‌ Effective January 1, 2014, one (1) employee in the unit will receive twenty-five dollars ($25) per month for providing notary services for District-related needs. At the beginning of each fiscal year, the Fire Chief or designee shall designate the unit employee to receive this specialty pay. To the extent permitted by law, the compensation in this section will be reported to CalPERS as special compensation.‌
