Skills and Certifications. ‌ A. Bi-Lingual 1. Employees assigned by the Department Head to perform bilingual translation as part of their regular duties, shall be entitled to bilingual differential pay. Such assignment shall be in written form. Such differential shall apply regardless of the total time required for such translation. Employees in such positions must be certified as competent in translation skills by the Human Resources Department to be eligible for compensation. 2. Employees eligible for bilingual pay shall receive $100 per pay period.

Skills and Certifications. A. Bilingual Pay 1. Employees in positions designated by the Department Head which require employees to perform bilingual translation as part of their regular duties, may receive bilingual differential pay. Such differential will apply regardless of the total time required per day for such translation. Bilingual pay will be $100 per pay period. Employees in such positions must be certified as competent in translation skills by the Human Resources Department to be eligible for compensation. 2. Unit employees approved to receive bilingual pay may be required to translate at City Council meetings, at the discretion of the City Manager or designee. Employees assigned to provide translation at the City Council meetings shall be compensated $50 per meeting. B. Notary Pay 1. Specified positions, which are determined to require notary duties, shall receive additional compensation. Each full-time unit employee who meets the eligibility requirements, and is designated by the applicable Department Head and Human Resources Department to receive notary pay shall be compensated at the rate of $25 per pay period. 2. Unit employees receiving notary pay shall also maintain their commission from the California Secretary of State. The City shall also pay for the cost of necessary stamps, journals, supplies, and fees associated with State and/or County requirements, as applicable.

  • Licenses and Certifications Where required by law, PROVIDER must, at all times, be licensed or certified by either the State or County as a qualified provider of the services purchased hereby. PROVIDER shall fully cooperate with licensing and certification authorities. PROVIDER shall submit copies of the required licenses or certifications upon request by COUNTY. PROVIDER shall promptly notify COUNTY in writing of any citation PROVIDER receives from any licensing or certification authority, including all responses and correction plans.

  • COMPLIANCE AND CERTIFICATION 25.1 Each Party shall comply at its own expense with all Applicable Laws that relate to that Party’s obligations to the other Party under this Agreement.   • Required Certifications A bidder who makes a false certification on the Bidder Certification of the Prequalification Classification and Work Capacity Form will be subject to forfeiture of his bid bond and/or disqualification from bidding on future work for a 90 day period, or both.
