Common use of Notice for Relief Clause in Contracts

Notice for Relief. To provide coverage for unscheduled leaves of absence due to sickness, accidents, leaves granted under Articles 19 etc., the Employer may request an employee to temporarily change his/her shift or work overtime. Such requests will not be unreasonably denied by the employee. When shift employees’ shifts are changed, thirty-six (36) hours notice will be provided prior to the commencement of the new shift and the following will apply: (a) Shift Change (i) Shifts commencing outside the 36 hours, 20 hours for Security Personnel, no penalty.
