Common use of Notice of Displacement Clause in Contracts

Notice of Displacement. If a job is eliminated under this Article, Employees affected will be given reasonable notification in advance and allowed a training period to acquire the necessary skill for retaining employment with the Employer commensurate with their seniority and ability. Reasonable expenses approved by the Employer for such retraining will be borne by the Employer. This Article does not apply during layoff.
