NUMBER OF STUDENTS PER BUS. Except in the case of an emergency, drivers shall not be required to exceed the manufacturer’s rated seating capacity of the bus they are operating. An emergency can only be declared by the Support Services Division head, the Operations Department head, or a duly authorized law enforcement officer or their designee.
