Common use of Nurse and Immediate Supervisor Clause in Contracts

Nurse and Immediate Supervisor. If any nurse has a grievance, the nurse shall first present the grievance in writing to the nurse’s immediate supervisor within twenty-one (21) calendar days from the date the nurse became aware of the facts giving rise to the grievance. Upon receipt thereof, the immediate supervisor shall attempt to immediately resolve the problem and shall respond in writing to the nurse within fourteen (14) calendar days following receipt of the written grievance.
