Professional Meetings Employees should be encouraged to and may, with the approval of the supervisor, attend professional meetings, conferences, and activities. Subject to the availability of funds, the employee's expenses in connection with such meetings, conferences, or activities shall be reimbursed in accordance with the applicable provisions of State law and university rules.
Telephone Meetings Members of a committee of the Board of Directors may participate in a meeting by means of a conference telephone or other communications equipment if all persons participating in the meeting can hear each other at the same time. Participation in a meeting by these means shall constitute presence in person at the meeting.
Project Meetings The Contractor shall attend a preconstruction conference and shall participate in regularly scheduled Project meetings.

Trafficking in Persons This Agreement and its subsequent modifications and task agreements are subject to requirements of section 106(g) of the Trafficking Victims Protection Act of 2000, as amended (22 U.S.C. § 7104); now located at 2 CFR Part 175: Trafficking in Persons. a) Provisions applicable to a recipient that is a private entity. (1) You as the recipient, your employees, subrecipients under this award, and subrecipients’ employees may not— i Engage in severe forms of trafficking in persons during the period of time that the award is in effect; ii Procure a commercial sex act during the period of time that the award is in effect; or iii Use forced labor in the performance of the award or subawards under the award. (2) We as the Federal awarding agency may unilaterally terminate this award, without penalty, if you or a subrecipient that is a private entity— i Is determined to have violated a prohibition in paragraph (a) (1) of this award term; or ii Has an employee who is determined by the agency official authorized to terminate the award to have violated a prohibition in paragraph (a) (1) of this award term through conduct that is either— (a) Associated with performance under this award; or (b) Imputed to you or the subrecipient using the standards and due process for imputing the conduct of an individual to an organization that are provided in 2 CFR part 180, “OMB Guidelines to Agencies on Government wide Debarment and Suspension (Nonprocurement),” as implemented by each respective federal agency partner at: 2 CFR Part 1125 (Department of Defense), 2 CFR Part 1326 (Department of Commerce), 2 CFR 1400 (Department of the Interior), and 7 CFR Part 3017 (Department of Agriculture). b) Provision applicable to a recipient other than a private entity. Open Meetings (a) All scheduled meetings of the Employer shall be open meetings, except in those cases where personnel, financial or other matters require that the meeting be considered confidential. (b) In those cases where a meeting is designated confidential, the Union shall be provided with a reason for such designation. (c) A designated member of the Union shall be provided a copy of the agenda and minutes of all open meetings. (d) Notwithstanding 18.04(b), any faculty member may request that an Union representative attend as an observer at meetings where the faculty member reasonably believes their working conditions under Article 12 will be affected. Management will be notified by the Union in advance of the meeting regarding their attendance at the meeting.
Contract Negotiations Meetings Where operational requirements permit, the Employer will grant leave without pay to an employee for the purpose of attending contract negotiations meetings on behalf of the Institute.
TAC Meetings The goal of this subtask is for the TAC to provide strategic guidance for the project by participating in regular meetings, which may be held via teleconference. • Discuss the TAC meeting schedule with the CAM at the Kick-off meeting. Determine the number and location of meetings (in-person and via teleconference) in consultation with the CAM. • Prepare a TAC Meeting Schedule that will be presented to the TAC members during recruiting. Revise the schedule after the first TAC meeting to incorporate meeting comments. • Prepare a TAC Meeting Agenda and TAC Meeting Back-up Materials for each TAC meeting. • Organize and lead TAC meetings in accordance with the TAC Meeting Schedule. Public Meetings The Governing Board is subject to and shall comply with the Open and Public Meetings Act, O.C.G.A. § 50-14-1 et seq., and any subsequent amendment thereof. The Governing Board shall conduct regular meetings consistent with principles of transparency and avoidance of actual or apparent conflicts of interest in the governance of the Charter School.
