Common use of Occupational First Aid Requirements Clause in Contracts

Occupational First Aid Requirements. a) The union and the employer agree that first aid regulations made pursuant to the Workers' Compensation Act shall be fully complied with. Where the employer requires an employee to obtain or renew the employee's survival or occupational first aid certificate, the cost shall be borne by the employer. Employees in designated positions and employees who request to be designated and are approved will be granted time off with pay during normal working hours to renew their certificate.
