Odometer Sample Clauses
Odometer. The Hired Vehicle shall have calibrated Odometer to accurately record Kilometer reading on a day-to-day basis. The meter reading should tally the actual distance of run at any instant and ‘Authorized Person’ of the Company shall have authority to check the meter for its correctness.
Odometer. Charges imposed by Xxxxxx and fines which may be imposed by federal, state or provincial government due to tampering with odometer.
Odometer. 9.1. There is an odometer installed in each Vehicle. If the User damages the odometer or its content, the User will be liable for the cost of any such damage. If the User has damaged the odometer or changed the reading, the distance covered estimated by Sunfleet when establishing the kilometer rate will apply, unless the User can prove that the Vehicle has been driven a shorter distance.

Odometer. 9.1 The distance travelled by the vehicle shall be calculated in kilometres from the time the vehicle is collected or delivered from the depot (and not from another agreed address) until the vehicle is returned to the depot (and not another agreed address).
9.2 If the seal of the odometer is broken or has been tampered with, the hirer shall be liable to pay the lessor an amount equivalent to the price per kilometre, at the rate specified in ‘APPLICABLE RATES’ on the first page, multiplied by a factor of 300 km per day, in addition to the other consideration payable in terms of this agreement.

Odometer. In case of failure of the odometer supplied, as in cases where it is physically impossible to measure the mileage travelled, a conventional mileage of 300 kilometres per day will be charged.
