Officers of the Libraries. All Officers of the Libraries will be initially appointed for a one-year term. Library faculty initially appointed at the rank of Assistant Professor or promoted from instructor to assistant professor may be reappointed for up to two year terms. Library faculty appointed at the rank of Associate Professor or promoted from assistant professor to associate professor may be reappointed for up to four year terms. Library faculty appointed at the rank of professor or promoted from associate professor to professor may be reap- pointed for up to six year terms. In all such cases, the length of such appointments and reappointments shall be solely within the discretion of the University.

Officers of the Libraries. Officers of the Libraries shall be reviewed for reappointment and promotion in accordance with the following xxxx- dards, criteria and procedures:
Officers of the Libraries. Responsibilities of the Officers of the Libraries shall be set by the Xxxx of the Library and appropriate supervisors and will vary depending on the particular position held. They may include but shall not be limited to library services, reference services, circulation services, technical services, University and professional service, teach- ing in library subject matter, supervision of library staff employees and activities that xxxxxx professional growth, including creative activity and research. Officers of the Libraries will be assigned work by their supervisors five days a week and will be expected to work in accordance with a schedule established by their supervisors, subject to the approval of the Xxxx. Officers of the Libraries will serve on twelve month appointments and, except for University holidays and approved vacations, are expected to be available for assignments during that entire period. Scheduling of library faculty will take into account the needs of the library and library users, including students and faculty, and the librarian’s professional specialization and areas of respon- sibility. Library faculty shall not be required to work desk shifts on more than five consecutive days. Any officer of the libraries who works on a University holiday shall be entitled to compensatory time equal to one and a half the number of hours

  • DIPLOMATIC AGENTS AND CONSULAR OFFICERS Nothing in this Agreement shall affect the fiscal privileges of diplomatic agents or consular officers under the general rules of international law or under the provisions of special agreements.

  • IMPLICATIONS OF THE LISTING RULES As one or more of the applicable percentage ratios (as defined in the Listing Rules) of the transactions under the Finance Lease Agreement are more than 5% but less than 25%, the transactions under the Finance Lease Agreement constitute discloseable transactions of the Company under Chapter 14 of the Listing Rules, and are subject to the announcement and reporting requirements under the Listing Rules.

  • EMPLOYEES, SUBCONTRACTORS AND AGENTS All employees, Subcontractors, or agents of the Contractor performing work under the Contract must be trained staff or technicians who meet or exceed the professional, technical, and training qualifications set forth in the Contract or the Purchase Order, and must comply with all security and administrative requirements of the Authorized User that are communicated to the Contractor. The Commissioner and the Authorized User reserve the right to conduct a security background check or otherwise approve any employee, Subcontractor, or agent furnished by Contractor and to refuse access to or require replacement of any personnel for cause based on professional, technical or training qualifications, quality of work or change in security status or non-compliance with Authorized User’s security or other requirements. Such approval shall not relieve the Contractor of the obligation to perform all work in compliance with the Contract or the Purchase Order. The Commissioner and the Authorized User reserve the right to reject and/or bar from any facility for cause any employee, Subcontractor, or agent of the Contractor.
