Online Education. Unit members that attend training required by the University shall be compensated at the rate of $45/hour provided University predetermined length of time and course completion requirements have been met and documented. This provision shall not apply to training required under Federal, State or Local laws. 22.1 Online Training β To be eligible for online/hybrid training, the adjunct faculty member or part-time instructor must not have attended such training in the past and must be able to demonstrate to the Department Chairperson a need to attend the training. Any adjunct faculty member or part-time instructor who attends the official online / hybrid training offered by the University (which lasts up to one (1) week) after obtaining prior written approval to do so from his/her Department Chairperson shall be entitled to a one (1)-time payment of five hundred dollars ($500).
