Open Protocols. Coinbase does not own or control the underlying software protocols that govern the operation of Supported Digital Assets. In general, the underlying protocols are open source, and anyone can use, copy, modify, and distribute them. Coinbase is not responsible for operation of the underlying protocols and Coinbase makes no guarantee of their functionality, security, or availability. The underlying protocols are subject to sudden changes in operating rules (i.e., forks), and such forks may materially affect the value, function, and/or even the name of the Supported Digital Assets stored in a Platform Account. In the event of a fork, Coinbase may temporarily suspend Coinbase operations, including the Market Platform, with or without advance notice, and Coinbase may, in its sole discretion, decide whether or not to support (or cease supporting) either branch of the forked protocol entirely. Client acknowledges and agrees that Coinbase assumes no responsibility or liability whatsoever with respect to an unsupported branch of a forked protocol.

  • Technical Specifications The Technical Specifications furnished on the CD are intended to establish the standards for quality, performance and technical requirements for all labor, workmanship, material, methods and equipment necessary to complete the Work. When specifications and drawings are provided or referenced by the County, these are to be considered part of the Scope of Work, and to be specifically documented in the Detailed Scope of Work.
