Optional Additional Day. Members may choose one additional day of vacation contiguous to each selected vacation period, respectively; provided however, that no such use shall include New Year’s Eve or New Year’s Day. This additional vacation day(s) shall be deemed part of the guaranteed vacation period(s). The additional day can be applied to the beginning or the end of the vacation. A thirty (30) day advance written notice must be given to their supervisor.
Optional Additional Day. Personnel whose Regular Days Off (RDOs) fall on Thursday, Friday or Saturday will have the option to use compensatory time off, floating holiday, or vacation time on the Saturday and/or Sunday prior to the beginning of their vacation, provided a thirty (30) day advance written notice is given to their supervisor.
