This perspective informs planning for daily lessons. • Formulates goals. • Designs a sequence of activities. • Incorporates evaluative measures. • Considers a balance among many aspects of a topic—skills and concepts, history and applications. • Designs lessons to further major school goals such as development of problem solving, analytical thinking, and communication. • Plans in a way that reflects developmental variation, including variety of learning styles and abilities of students. • Uses varying teaching techniques. • Takes into account appropriate materials and resources, including technology. • Creates an environment supportive of learning.

Organizing and Planning for Instruction. Prior to or subsequent to a lesson being taught, a teacher should be able upon request to explain to an evaluator the content of the lesson, its appropriateness, both in relation to the particular students involved and the scope and sequence of the curriculum, and the particular teaching methods that will be used. This would include broad objectives for units of study as well as more specific objectives for shorter blocks of time and individual lessons. The effective teacher designs instruction to facilitate learning consistent with the needs and interests of learners. To meet this criterion, the effective teacher will demonstrate that h/she:

  • VISIBILITY OF FUNDING FROM THE OFFICIAL DEVELOPMENT ASSISTANCE Unless the SAIDC requests or agrees otherwise, any communication or publication made by the Final Beneficiary that relates to the action, including at conferences, seminars or in any information or promotional materials (such as brochures, leaflets, posters, presentations in electronic form, etc.), including tangible assets acquired from the project must: (a) indicate that the action has received funding from the Official Development Assistance, SlovakAid and (b) display the SlovakAid logo. When displayed in association with another logo, the SlovakAid logo must have appropriate prominence. The obligation to display the SlovakAid logo does not confer on the Final Beneficiary a right of exclusive use. The Final Beneficiary may not appropriate the SlovakAid logo or any similar trademark or logo, either by registration or by any other means. For the purposes of the first, second and third subparagraphs and under the conditions specified therein, the Final Beneficiary may use the SlovakAid logo without first obtaining permission from the SAIDC.

  • Form and substance of requests for assistance 1. Requests pursuant to this Protocol shall be made in writing. They shall be accompanied by the documents necessary to enable compliance with the request. When required because of the urgency of the situation, oral requests may be accepted, but must be confirmed in writing immediately.

  • Accreditation of Public Schools and Adoption and Implementation of School Plans The District will implement a system of accrediting all of its schools, as described in section 22-11- 307, C.R.S., which may include measures specifically for those schools that have been designated as Alternative Education Campuses, in accordance with the provisions of 1 CCR 301-57. The District will ensure that plans are implemented for each school in compliance with the requirements of the State Board pursuant to 1 CCR 301-1.

  • RESPONDING TO REQUESTS FOR INFORMATION To the extent authorized by the Participating Consumer(s) and to the extent such individual permission is required by law, the Competitive Supplier shall, during normal business hours (as set forth above), respond promptly and without charge therefore to reasonable requests of the Town for information or explanation regarding the matters covered by this ESA and the supply of electricity to Participating Consumers. Competitive Supplier agrees to designate a service representative or representatives (the “Service Contacts”) who shall be available for these purposes, and shall identify the office address and telephone number of such representative(s). Whenever necessary to comply with this Article 5.3, the Service Contacts shall call upon other employees or agents of the Competitive Supplier to obtain such information or explanation as may be reasonably requested. Nothing in this Article 5.3 shall be interpreted as limiting the obligation of the Competitive Supplier to respond to complaints or inquiries from Participating Consumers, or to comply with any regulation of the Department or AG regarding customer service.

  • NOTICE TO EMPLOYEES REGARDING THE SAFELY SURRENDERED BABY LAW The Contractor shall notify and provide to its employees, and shall require each Subcontractor to notify and provide to its employees, a fact sheet regarding the Safely Surrendered Baby Law, its implementation in Los Angeles County, and where and how to safely surrender a baby. The fact sheet is set forth in Exhibit I of this Contract and is also available on the Internet at xxx.xxxxxxxxxx.xxx for printing purposes.

  • Lobbying Activities - Standard Form - LLL No response Do not upload this form unless Vendor has reportable lobbying activities. There are Attributes entitled, “2 CFR Part 200 or Federal Provision - Xxxx Anti-Lobbying Amendment – Continued.” Properly respond to those Attributes and only upload this form if applicable/instructed. If upload is required based on your response to those Attributes, the Disclosure of Lobbying Activities – Standard Form - LLL must be downloaded from the “Attachments” section of the IonWave eBid System, reviewed, properly completed, and uploaded to this location.

  • Compliance with Contractor Employee Jury Service Ordinance Contractor shall comply with the County Ordinance with respect to provision of jury duty pay to employees and have and adhere to a written policy that provides that its employees shall receive from the Contractor, on an annual basis, no less than five days of regular pay for actual jury service in San Mateo County. The policy may provide that employees deposit any fees received for such jury service with the Contractor or that the Contractor deduct from the employees’ regular pay the fees received for jury service.

  • DEVELOPMENT OR ASSISTANCE IN DEVELOPMENT OF SPECIFICATIONS REQUIREMENTS/ STATEMENTS OF WORK Firms and/or individuals that assisted in the development or drafting of the specifications, requirements, statements of work, or solicitation documents contained herein are excluded from competing for this solicitation. This shall not be applicable to firms and/or individuals providing responses to a publicly posted Request for Information (RFI) associated with a solicitation.

  • Consideration of Criminal History in Hiring and Employment Decisions 10.14.1 Contractor agrees to comply fully with and be bound by all of the provisions of Chapter 12T, “City Contractor/Subcontractor Consideration of Criminal History in Hiring and Employment Decisions,” of the San Francisco Administrative Code (“Chapter 12T”), including the remedies provided, and implementing regulations, as may be amended from time to time. The provisions of Chapter 12T are incorporated by reference and made a part of this Agreement as though fully set forth herein. The text of the Chapter 12T is available on the web at xxxx://xxxxx.xxx/olse/fco. Contractor is required to comply with all of the applicable provisions of 12T, irrespective of the listing of obligations in this Section. Capitalized terms used in this Section and not defined in this Agreement shall have the meanings assigned to such terms in Chapter 12T.
