Oriented / Trained. An employee will be considered eligible for a vacant position if, in the Employer’s opinion, the employee can become oriented/trained to the vacant position within four (4) weeks. If the employee has not achieved a satisfactory level of performance in the judgment of the Employer within four (4) weeks, the employee will be subject to layoff.

  • First Aid Training In the interests of the occupational safety and health of employees, the Employer will undertake an in-service program of first aid training aimed at providing a first aid officer for each department.

  • APPRENTICES/TRAINEES 25.1 Apprentices/Trainees shall be entitled to all of the applicable rates and conditions of employment prescribed by this Agreement.

  • Trainee is an individual who is a signatory to a training agreement registered with the relevant State or Territory Training Authority and is involved in paid work and structured training which may be on or off the job.
