DEBRIS Contractor shall be responsible for the prompt removal of all debris which is a result of this contractual service.
Demolition The Lessor shall remove existing abandoned electric, telephone, and data cabling and devices, as well as any other improvements or fixtures in place, to accommodate the Government’s requirements. Any demolition of existing improvements that is necessary to satisfy the Government’s layout shall be done at the Lessor’s expense.
Demolition work (i) As of 1 March 2024 where Employees are directly performing demolition works that would require a demolition permit that allows the performance of such work, they will receive the amount of $9.70 per hour or the site allowance, whichever is the greater. This allowance will be adjusted annually in accordance with CPI (All Groups, Melbourne) movements measured in the twelve month period ending the previous December quarter effective as of 1 March 2025, rounded to the nearest 5 cents. (ii) As of 1 March 2024 where Employees are employed in connection with, and on work, with employees of demolition contractors (ie. working within the demolition zone and/or subject to the additional disabilities arising from that demolition), they will receive the amount of $8.70 per hour or the site allowance, whichever is the greater. This allowance will be adjusted annually in accordance with CPI (All Groups, Melbourne) movements measured in the twelve month period ending the previous December quarter effective as of 1 March 2025, rounded to the nearest 5 cents.
Garbage The Concessionaire will contract with and make payment directly to the provider.
Cleaning 8.1 CONTRACTOR shall, at his own expenses, at all times keep the premises free from accumulation of debris, waste materials, and rubbish, and at the completion of the work, he shall remove his tools and equipment and all surplus materials, debris, waste material, and rubbish and shall leave the premises in a neat and clean condition. If CONTRACTOR does not attend to such cleaning immediately upon request, OWNER shall have the right to have this work done by others and deduct the cost therefore from the payment due CONTRACTOR hereunder.
Rubbish Please note that the blue top bin is for recycling and all other rubbish should be placed in black bin liners in the other bin for collection. Bins should be put out on Sunday evenings for an early Monday morning collection. Any bin that has not been put out will be the responsibility of the Guest to dispose of the rubbish. The Council will not collect any loose rubbish that is not inside a black bin liner. See above note re dog mess and nappies.
CLEANING UP 4.15.1 Before commencement of any on-site activities, Contractor is required to prepare and submit to the Project Manager a Construction Site Waste Reduction Plan. A sample plan is available at: xxxx://xxx.xxx.xxxxx.xx.xx/dec/wastediv/recycling/CandD.htm . Failure to comply with this provision or a failure to comply with the plan itself will result in withholding of general conditions’ money from the contractor’s monthly requisition until Contractor has rectified the situation and is in full compliance with these provisions. 4.15.2 The Contractor at all times shall keep the premises free from accumulation of waste materials or rubbish. At the completion of the Work he shall remove all his waste materials and rubbish from and about. the Project as well as all his tools, construction equipment, machinery and surplus materials and shall leave the premises in a clean and satisfactory condition. 4.15.3 If the Contractor fails to clean up at the completion of the Work, the State may do so as provided in Paragraph 3.4 and the cost thereof shall be charged to the Contractor.
Decorations The only acceptable form of affixing items to walls is the use of white sticky tack, and must be removed by the Resident prior to move out, or be subject to removal charges. Spikes, hooks, screws, tacks or nails or any permanent adhesion type tape shall not be put into or on the walls or woodwork, ceilings, furnishings, doors or windows of any part of the Residence. Residents may not decorate the outside of their room door unless for special occasions approved by the Manager. Strings of indoor lights should not be in direct contact with any flammable materials and should not be left on while the room is unattended.
Disposals (a) Except as provided below, no member of the Group may, either in a single transaction or in a series of transactions and whether related or not, dispose of all or any substantial part of its assets. (b) Paragraph (a) does not apply to any disposal: (i) made in the ordinary course of the day-to-day operations of the disposing entity (including payments of cash); or (ii) of assets in exchange for or to be replaced by other assets comparable or superior as to type, value and quality; or (iii) where the higher of the market value and consideration receivable (when aggregated with the higher of the market value and consideration receivable for any other disposal not allowed under the preceding sub-paragraphs) does not exceed 10% of consolidated total assets of the Company as shown in the audited consolidated financial statements of the Company most recently delivered to the Facility Agent pursuant to Subclause 20.1 (Financial statements), or its equivalent in any financial year of the Company. (iv) disposals from one member of the Group to another member of the Group but prior to the occurrence of the Trigger Event only if the percentage ownership of the Company in the receiving Subsidiary (whether such ownership is direct or indirect through other Subsidiaries) is not significantly less than the Company’s percentage ownership (whether direct or indirect as aforesaid) in the disposing Subsidiary; or (v) loans, guarantees or indemnities by the Company or any member of the Group to, or in respect of the indemnities of, the trustees of any pension scheme or any employee or other share scheme of the Company or any member of the Group; (vi) disposals of a loss-making business made with the consent of the Majority Lenders (acting reasonably); (vii) the making of a lawful distribution; (viii) disposals permitted by the terms of Subclause 22.5 (Negative pledge) or Subclause 22.9 (Mergers); (ix) disposals of Unrestricted Margin Stock, provided that any disposal of Unrestricted Margin Stock shall be made at fair market value; or (x) disposals made with the prior consent of the Majority Lenders.
Installations Any special carpentry, wiring, electrical or other work, gas, steam, water and drainage connection shall be installed at Exhibitor’s expense, and in accordance with the building and Management’s direction.
