Other Leaves of Absence With Pay. Any employee shall be granted a leave of absence with pay for service upon a jury, appearance before a court, legislative committee, or other body as a witness in a proceeding involving the federal government, the State of Minnesota, or a political subdivision thereof in response to a subpoena or other direction by proper authority; or attendance in court in connection with his/her official duties. In the case of jury duty, the employee's compensation from the City during his/her leave shall equal the difference between his/her regular compensation and compensation paid for jury duty.
