Other Leaves of Absence With Pay. An employee holding a position in County service shall be granted a leave of absence with pay for: A. Service with a jury; and B. Non job-related appearance before a court, legislative committee, judicial or quasi-judicial body, as a witness in response to a subpoena or other direction by proper authority not to exceed one (1) full workday where the employee is not a party in the case. Employees, who are excused from jury service or court appearance before the end of their workday, shall immediately report their availability for assignment to their supervisor. All jury and witness fees, except mileage and meals received by the employee, shall be turned over to the County.
