The Board shall grant an employee a paid leave of absence for up to thirty-one (31) days in any one (1) calendar year while the employee is on active duty or training duty with Ohio armed forces or with the reserve components of armed forces of the United States. Sick leave is not earned during the unpaid military leave of absence.
