OUT-OF-CLASS ASSIGNMENTS. 10.1 All bargaining unit members shall be assigned duties that are fixed and prescribed by the Governing Board. In the event an employee is assigned more than (5) working days within a fifteen-(15) calendar day period in a higher classification, his/her salary shall be adjusted to the nearest step of the higher classification. This increase would be for the entire period the employee is required to work out of classification.

In the event an employee is assigned more than (5) working days within a fifteen-(15) calendar day period in a higher classification, his/her salary shall be adjusted to the nearest step of the higher classificationclassification at a minimum of 5.0%, except that the employee may be placed on the last step of the appropriate range if that is the maximum allowable for that class. This increase would be for the entire period the employee is required to work out of classification.
