Common use of Out of Classification Work Clause in Contracts

Out of Classification Work. An employee who is assigned to work at a higher job classification for four (4) hours or more in any one day will be paid at a step in the range of the higher class which would provide an increase in pay. Effective January 1, 2013, when an employee is assigned to work at a higher job classification for four (4) hours or more in any one day, said employee shall be paid at the increment in the range of the higher classification which would provide a minimum of 5% increase.
