Out-of-District Schools. Routes for Out-of-District Schools will be open to bid in accordance with Article 18.4.1; however, it is understood that Out-of-District School routes can be eliminated based on student enrollment. In the event a School Bus Route no longer requires service due to changes in enrollment the Director of Transportation or designee shall work expeditiously to offer a new School Bus Route with no fewer hours to the affected employee(s). If multiple routes are available, the affected driver shall choose from among them. Until such time as a new School Bus Route is selected, affected employees will receive alternative driving assignments or perform other duties in the transportation department as assigned by the Director, without any loss in pay. School Bus Drivers and School Bus Aides working routes for Out-of-District Schools with calendars that are different from the employee’s duty day calendar will have priority to cover those days outside the regular 189 duty day calendar. School Bus Drivers and School Bus Aides will be reassigned to alternate routes with their regular number of hours on days the District is in session but the Out-of-District Schools are not.

  • Use of District Facilities 1 The Association shall have the right to use District facilities for Association meetings provided advance approval is granted by the District according to the District Building Use Guidelines.

  • CFR PART 200 Domestic Preferences for Procurements As appropriate and to the extent consistent with law, the non-Federal entity should, to the greatest extent practicable under a Federal award, provide a preference for the purchase, acquisition, or use of goods, products, or materials produced in the United States (including but not limited to iron, aluminum, steel, cement, and other manufactured products). The requirements of this section must be included in all subawards including all contracts and purchase orders for work or products under this award. For purposes of 2 CFR Part 200.322, “Produced in the United States” means, for iron and steel products, that all manufacturing processes, from the initial melting stag through the application of coatings, occurred in the United States. Moreover, for purposes of 2 CFR Part 200.322, “Manufactured products” means items and construction materials composed in whole or in part of non-ferrous metals such as aluminum, plastics and polymer-based products such as polyvinyl chloride pipe, aggregates such as concrete, class, including optical fiber, and lumber.   • Joint Funded Project with the Ohio Department of Transportation In the event that the Recipient does not have contracting authority over project engineering, construction, or right-of-way, the Recipient and the OPWC hereby assign certain responsibilities to the Ohio Department of Transportation, an authorized representative of the State of Ohio. Notwithstanding Sections 4, 6(a), 6(b), 6(c), and 7 of the Project Agreement, Recipient hereby acknowledges that upon notification by the Ohio Department of Transportation, all payments for eligible project costs will be disbursed by the Grantor directly to the Ohio Department of Transportation. A Memorandum of Funds issued by the Ohio Department of Transportation shall be used to certify the estimated project costs. Upon receipt of a Memorandum of Funds from the Ohio Department of Transportation, the OPWC shall transfer funds directly to the Ohio Department of Transportation via an Intra- State Transfer Voucher. The amount or amounts transferred shall be determined by applying the Participation Percentages defined in Appendix D to those eligible project costs within the Memorandum of Funds. In the event that the Project Scope is for right-of-way only, notwithstanding Appendix D, the OPWC shall pay for 100% of the right-of-way costs not to exceed the total financial assistance provided in Appendix C.

  • Scope and Application This Appendix will apply to all work undertaken within the Employer’s Workshop(s) by employees mainly engaged at the Workshop.

  • Department of Transportation Bridge Maintenance employees, when actually climbing the cable stays of the Penobscot Narrows Bridge for inspection and/or repair, shall be compensated at the rate of ten dollars ($10.00) an hour in addition to their regular hourly rate of pay. Employees shall be compensated for a minimum of one (1) hour of such work regardless of the length of the climbing assignment.
