Overload Plan. The plan, according to 13.2 above, shall be communicated to involved staff by the site administrator within five (5) working days of the assignment of a student who creates the overload. The implementation of the plan shall be completed within twenty (20) working days. When resource specialist case loads exceed twenty- eight (28) students, the District shall: (1) reorganize in a manner so as to reasonably balance case loads; or (2) if reorganization is impractical, the Association and the District will meet to determine what action can be taken to accommodate the excess case load.

Overload Plan basis, all class size payments shall be determined based on the enrollments, staffing ratios, and/or class sizes calculated on the last day of each attendance accounting period. The enrollments, staffing ratios, and/or class sizes calculated on this date shall be deemed to have been in place for the entire attendance accounting period, and any class size calculated on the date shall be deemed to have been in place for the entire attendance accounting period, and any class size payments shall be based on the data derived from the last day of the applicable attendance accounting period.

  • Severe Weather An employee who is late for a scheduled shift during a severe weather day will be offered the opportunity to work his/her full regular schedule of hours if work is needed, without suffering any pay deductions taken from such employee’s regular scheduled work day providing such employee completes his/her shift. Severe weather days are days when weather hampers mass transit (e.g. buses and ferries) from transporting travelers to their destinations. If weather conditions are such that driving to work would be hazardous, roads are closed, or travel to work would result in extreme hardship, an employee may use his/her PTO time if unable to report for work. EIB is not available for severe weather days. Employees are required to provide notification as soon as practicable if they are going to be late or unable to report for work.
