Overpayment of Salary and Allowance. 7.6.1 The overpayment represents a debt to the City and where an error has resulted in an overpayment in an employee’s basic salary, premium rate or allowances it may be rectified in total or retroactively for a period not intended to exceed one (1) year from the date on which the error was discovered.
