OVERTIME AND CALL OUT‌. Section A – Overtime‌ 19.01 (a) Overtime is defined as time worked in excess of a regular shift of seven and one-half (7-1/2) hours per day or thirty-seven and one-half (37-1/2) hours per week. No overtime shall be worked except under special circumstances. If overtime is essential and approved, payment for overtime shall be made at the rate of double time after seven and one-half (7-1/2) hours per day or thirty-seven and one-half (37- 1/2) hours per week or time worked in excess of a regularly scheduled five (5) consecutive day work week. All overtime worked on an employee's first or second day of rest and on holidays shall be paid for at double time rates.
