Common use of Overtime Availability List Clause in Contracts

Overtime Availability List. Employees shall notify the Employer in writing of their willingness and availability to be assigned hours of overtime. Subject to Article 10, the Employer shall offer up to four (4) hours per bi-weekly pay period of available overtime to such employees with the most seniority. Prior to assigning overtime to other employees, the Employer may, with mutual agreement between the employee and the Employer, assign additional overtime hours to those employees who have indicated their willingness and availability to accept scheduled overtime. Employees who refuse three successive offers of overtime shall be removed from the availability list. If client needs cannot be met by the employees who have indicated their willingness and availability to accept scheduled overtime, the Employer may assign overtime to employees in reverse order of seniority.
