Overtime - Continuous Shift Employee. All time worked in excess of the ordinary working hours in accordance with clause 4.1.3 of this Agreement, shall be deemed overtime and paid for at the rate of time and a half for the first two (2) hours and double time thereafter of the base rate of pay.

  • Part-Time Employee Part-time employee" means an employee who is normally scheduled to work fewer than 80 hours in a biweekly payroll period.

  • Part-Time Employment Monthly compensation for part-time employment will be pro-rated based on the ratio of hours worked to hours required for full-time employment. In the alternative, part-time employees may be paid the appropriate hourly rate for all hours worked.

  • Employment Deemed Continuous ‌ The service of an employee who is absent from work in accordance with this article shall be considered continuous for the purpose of Articles 18 (Vacation Entitlement) and 25 (Health Care Plans). The Employer shall continue to make payments to Health and Welfare Plans, in the same manner as if the employee were not absent where the employee elects to pay his or her share of the cost of the plans.
