Overtime Definitions. Prearranged Overtime: Work performed outside the normal scheduled hours for which notification must be given a minimum of 24 hours in advance (21 hours for computer shift working employees). Time shall be counted from the time the employee reports for work until the employee finishes work. Emergency Overtime: Work performed outside the normal scheduled hours which is neither prearranged nor extension overtime. Time shall be counted from the time the employee reports for work until the employee finishes work.
