The Emergency Recall Work clause defines the terms under which employees may be required to return to work outside of their regular hours in response to urgent or unforeseen situations. Typically, this clause outlines the conditions that constitute an emergency, the process for notifying employees, and any additional compensation or allowances provided for such recall work. Its core practical function is to ensure that the employer can quickly mobilize necessary staff during emergencies while providing clear guidelines and protections for employees who are called back to work unexpectedly.
Emergency Recall Work. Unit employees recalled to work on an “emergency recall” basis should be granted a minimum of four (4) hours of overtime.

Emergency recall work is performed by a unit employee who is ordered to duty when: 1) It is deemed necessary or advisable to properly handle an emergency incident or incidents; or 2) To maintain necessary staffing levels; or 3) When such order occurs after going off duty; or 4) Unit employee is ordered to duty from emergency standby. b. Travel time to work shall be counted as work time. Total work time for travel time to work for emergency recall purposes (portal to portal) shall be for one hour per incident. c. Travel time returning home shall not be considered work time.

  • Emergency Repairs a) The landlord must post and maintain in a conspicuous place on the residential property, or give to the tenant in writing, the name and telephone number of the designated contact person for emergency repairs. b) If emergency repairs are required, the tenant must make at least two attempts to telephone the designated contact person, and then give the landlord reasonable time to complete the repairs. c) If the emergency repairs are still required, the tenant may undertake the repairs, and claim reimbursement from the landlord, provided a statement of account and receipts are given to the landlord. If the landlord does not reimburse the tenant as required, the tenant may deduct the cost from rent.   • Emergency Replacement SAP may replace a Subprocessor without advance notice where the reason for the change is outside of SAP’s reasonable control and prompt replacement is required for security or other urgent reasons. In this case, SAP will inform Customer of the replacement Subprocessor as soon as possible following its appointment. Section 6.3 applies accordingly.

  • Emergency Work Employees who are required to report for emergency work on non- workdays, or outside of their regular hours of work on a scheduled workday or on holidays which they are entitled to have off, shall be paid overtime compensation for the actual work time and for travel time in connection therewith, but such travel time shall not exceed one-half (1/2) hour.

  • Emergency Room Services This plan covers services received in a hospital emergency room when needed to stabilize or initiate treatment in an emergency. If your condition needs immediate or urgent, but non-emergency care, contact your PCP or use an urgent care center. This plan covers bandages, crutches, canes, collars, and other supplies incidental to your treatment in the emergency room as part of our allowance for the emergency room services. Additional services provided in the emergency room such as radiology or physician consultations are covered separately from emergency room services and may require additional copayments. The amount you pay is based on the type of service being rendered. Follow-up care services, such as suture removal, fracture care or wound care, received at the emergency room will require an additional emergency room copayment. Follow- up care services can be obtained from your primary care provider or a specialist. See Dental Services in Section 3 for information regarding emergency dental care services.

  • Emergency Mode Operation Plan Contractor must establish a documented plan to enable continuation of critical business processes and protection of the security of electronic County PHI or PI in the event of an emergency. Emergency means any circumstance or situation that causes normal computer operations to become unavailable for use in performing the work required under this Agreement for more than twenty-four (24) hours.
