Common use of Overtime Lunch Provided by Employer Clause in Contracts

Overtime Lunch Provided by Employer. Where an employee has not been advised prior to reporting for his shift that he will be working an extended shift he shall be provided with an adequate meal at the Employer's expense after the first two (2) overtime hours provided it appears likely that more than an hour's work remains to be done, and every four (4) overtime hours thereafter. All employees will be given at least a one-half (1/2) hour lunch break without pay, or allowed sufficient time to eat at the Employer's expense after the first two (2) overtime hours and every four (4) overtime hours thereafter.
