Common use of Overtime Lunches Clause in Contracts

Overtime Lunches. Employees required to work overtime shall be given a thirty (30) minute paid lunch break after having worked six (6) consecutive hours or, in any case, after having worked ten (10) consecutive hours of actual work, and every four (4) hours thereafter, provided that in each case it is necessary to resume overtime work involving a paid lunch break as above, the Company will provide a lunch if the employee(s) concerned were not notified on the previous work day about the overtime work.

Overtime Lunches. Employees required to work more than two (2) hours of overtime shall be given a thirty twenty (3020) minute paid lunch break after having worked six (6) consecutive hours or, in any case, after having worked ten (10) consecutive hours of actual work, and every four (4) hours thereafter, provided that in each case it is necessary to resume overtime work involving a paid after the lunch break as above, the Company will provide a lunch if the employee(s) concerned were not notified on the previous work day about the overtime workbreak.

All employees working overtime on weekends shall work an eight (8) hour shift, inclusive of a paid lunch break.
