Common use of Overtime Rotating List Clause in Contracts

Overtime Rotating List. (a) Whenever it is necessary to work overtime, such overtime shall be distributed as evenly as possible among the employees who have completed their original probationary period and are qualified to perform the necessary work. The seniority rotating overtime list shall be established by job classification according to the employee's seniority within the class. It shall also show the original hiring date. All overtime hours worked shall become part of the seniority rotating overtime list of all employees. The list shall be followed except as otherwise provided by divisional agreements.
