Own Accommodation Allowance. In lieu of VARA-provided accommodation, a Pilot may arrange their own accommodation. Should this occur, and provided the Pilot provides VARA with sufficient notice of the provision of own accommodation to allow the cancellation of VARA-provided accommodation without financial penalty (not less than 48 hours unless otherwise advised), the Pilot will be paid the Own Accommodation Allowance specified in Appendix 1 - Allowances (together with the applicable meal allowances and the layover allowance for the period of the layover).

  • ADVANCE PAYMENTS PROHIBITED No payments in advance of or in anticipation of goods or services to be provided under this contract shall be made by the AGENCY.

  • ADVANCE PAYMENT PROHIBITED Except as authorized by law, Contractor shall not request or receive advance payment for any Goods and/or Services furnished by Contractor pursuant to this Master Contract.

  • Rental Assistance Payments and Overpayment The right of the Owner to receive payments under this Contract shall be subject to compliance with this Contract’s provisions. The Owner agrees that, absent written notice to the Program Administrator and return of the Rental Assistance Payment, acceptance of the Rental Assistance Payment shall be conclusive evidence that the Owner received the full amount due. Throughout the term of this Contract, Owner agrees to waive any late fees associated with the Rental Assistance Payment, provided that such payment is issued by the Program Administrator by the agreed upon date. Owner/Representative Initials: If the Program Administrator determines that the Owner was not entitled to any payments received, in addition to other remedies, the Program Administrator may require Owner to refund any overpayment to the Program Administrator.

  • Shoe Allowance The Employer will provide reimbursement to full time employees who have completed probation and who are employed in the kitchen and stewarding departments, once per year in the amount of $60.00 and once every two years in the amount of $60.00 for maintenance and banquet housepersons. The amount shall increase to $75, effective January 1, 2007. Employees will receive said amount as long as the shoes are approved by the employer and as long as the shoes are worn on the job. Payment will be made on or about July 1 upon presentation of proof of purchase.

  • Boot Allowance The District will pay $180 toward the purchase and/or repair of work boots for District Employees listed in the District’s Work Apparel Policy and/or at the discretion of the employee’s department manager. Payment will be made by the first full paycheck of the employee’s date of hire and annually thereafter. Boots must meet applicable OSHA standards for the duties assigned.

  • Aid Allowance An employee who has been appointed by the Employer and trained to render first aid and who is the current holder of appropriate first aid qualifications such as a certificate from the St. Xxxx's Ambulance or similar body shall be paid weekly an allowance as detailed in Appendix A.   • Shift Allowance In addition to the wage specified in sub-clause (1), read with sub- clause (12), a normal shift worker shall, in respect of his shift hours worked in any week, be paid an additional 12,5% on such wage.

  • Rental Assistance Payment The rent due each month to the Owner under the Lease is identified in Exhibit A (the “Contract Rent”). The Owner shall not increase the Contract Rent during the term of this Contract. Owner/Representative Initials: The Program Administrator will provide a one time “Rental Assistance Payment” in the amount identified in Exhibit A to the Owner on behalf of the Tenant. The Rental Assistance Payment will be credited against the Contract Rent otherwise due under the Lease. The Tenant is responsible to the Owner for the “Tenant Contribution” identified in Exhibit A and any additional amounts due under the Lease not covered by the Rental Assistance Payment. Neither the Program Administrator nor the PJ assumes any obligation for the Tenant Contribution due monthly to the Owner, or the payment of any claim by the Owner against the Tenant. The Program Administrator's Rental Assistance Payment obligation is limited to making payment in the amount identified in Exhibit A on behalf of the Tenant to the Owner in accordance with this Contract.

  • Lodging Allowance ‌ Employees on travel status who stay in non-commercial lodging shall be entitled to claim $30 per day except where the lodging is supplied by the Employer. An employee submitting a lodging allowance claim shall not be entitled to reimbursement for commercial lodging costs for the same period.
