PADUCAH AREA CONSTRUCTION ADVANCEMENT FOUNDATION. Section 1. During the term of this Agreement, commencing on July 1, 2011, each Employer, a party hereto, shall pay to the Paducah Area Construction Advancement Foundation the sum of eight cents ($.08) per hour for each hour worked by all employees who are members of this bargaining unit for worked performed on projects located in the counties listed below: McCracken, Ballard, Carlisle, Graves, Hickman, Fulton, Marshall, Calloway, Livingston, Lyon, Daviess, Ohio, Hancock, McLean, Muhlenberg, Breckenridge, Xxxxxxx, Xxxxxxxxx, All of Fort Campbell, Todd, Trigg, Edmonson, Barren, Caldwell, Hopkins, Logan, Butler, Warren, Simpson, and Xxxxx. Payments to the above described Construction Advancement Programs to be held in trusts for the purposes of generally benefitting and promoting the Construction Industry provided, however, that no expenditure from said Fund shall be made for any activity harmful or injurious to the Union. No part of the fund allocated for the Construction Advancement Program shall be spent directly or indirectly for any of the following purposes:

  • Construction Phase - Administration of the Construction Contract 1.6.1 The Construction Phase shall commence with the acceptance of the Construction Manager’s Guaranteed Maximum Price (or acceptance of a partial Guaranteed Maximum Price for a stage or phase) and issuance of a Notice to Proceed with Construction Services and terminate sixty (60) days after Final Payment to the Contractor is made, or when all of Architect/Engineer’s services have been satisfactorily performed, whichever occurs later.

  • BUILDER’S RISK FOR CONSTRUCTION RENOVATION PROJECTS If the project is CONSTRUCTION RENOVATION of an existing structure, and the State has already determined that Contractor will not be obligated to obtain and maintain Builder’s Risk insurance, then the following provisions apply:

  • PRE-CONSTRUCTION PHASE SERVICES The Pre-Construction Phase shall be deemed to commence upon the date specified in a written Notice to Proceed with Pre-Construction Phase Services issued by Owner and shall continue through completion of the Construction Documents and procurement of all major Subcontractor agreements. Contractor is not entitled to reimbursement for any costs incurred for Pre-Construction Phase Services performed before issuance of the written Notice to Proceed. Pre-Construction Phase Services may overlap Construction Phase Services. Contractor shall perform the following Pre-Construction Phase Services:

  • COMPENSATION FOR CONSTRUCTION PHASE SERVICES 5.1 For the Construction Manager’s performance of the Work as described in Section 2.3, the Owner shall pay the Construction Manager the Contract Sum in current funds. The Contract Sum is the Cost of the Work as defined in Section 6.1.1 plus the Construction Manager’s Fee.

  • PRE-CONSTRUCTION PHASE FEE The Pre-Construction Phase Fee is the total compensation payable to Contractor for the performance of Pre-Construction Phase Services, except for Additional Pre-Construction Phase Services approved in advance and in writing by Owner. The Pre-Construction Phase Fee shall be a lump sum amount based on the AACC established in this Agreement.

  • CONSTRUCTION AND RENOVATION Construction of academic or residential buildings on the UC Berkeley campus may be scheduled for the term of this Lease in the vicinity of the apartments. Capital improvement and other major housing construction or repair projects will necessarily cause increased noise and dust in affected and nearby residences at certain times. There is the possibility of both planned and unplanned utility shutdowns and access to certain facilities, streets, parking lots, walking, and bike pathways may be limited, rerouted, or completely restricted. The University will work with building contractors to make every effort to minimize construction inconveniences. By agreeing to this Lease Agreement, the Resident acknowledges notice of the possibility of scheduled construction and access limitations, and acknowledges that there will be disturbances, disruptions, and inconveniences resulting from such constructions and has agreed to such. The Resident also acknowledges that increased noise, dust, potential reassignment, or loss of parking spaces related to construction or renovation are not grounds for cancellation or termination of this Lease.

  • BUILDER’S RISK FOR NEW CONSTRUCTION PROJECTS If the project is NEW CONSTRUCTION, then the following provisions apply:

  • Project Construction The Contractor agrees to provide continuous on-site supervision on each Job Order, while progress on the project is being accomplished. The Contractor’s Project Manager will ensure:

  • Post-Construction Phase A. Upon written authorization from Owner during the Post-Construction Phase, Engineer shall:

  • DITCH CONSTRUCTION AND RECONSTRUCTION Purchaser shall construct ditches into the subgrade as specified on the TYPICAL SECTION SHEET. Ditches must be constructed concurrently with construction of the subgrade.
