Pre-Construction Phase Services definition

Pre-Construction Phase Services means the participation, documentation and execution of Contractor’s Pre-Construction Phase deliverables as required by this Agreement and further defined in Article 5.
Pre-Construction Phase Services means the participation, documentation, and execution of Construction Manager’s Pre-Construction Phase deliverables as required by the Contract Documents.
Pre-Construction Phase Services are those services required of the Construction Manager under the Contract Documents or rendered by the Construction Manager that are not Construction Phase Services or Post-Construction Phase Services, such as the Services described in Part 3, the preparation of the Guaranteed Maximum Price proposal pursuant to Part 7, and, generally, all services rendered by the Construction Manager in respect of any bid package prior to bidding and the award of one or more contracts for that bid package.

Examples of Pre-Construction Phase Services in a sentence

  • The Pre-Construction Phase shall be deemed to commence upon the date specified in a written Notice to Proceed with Pre-Construction Phase Services issued by Owner and shall continue through completion of the Construction Documents and procurement of all major Subcontractor agreements.

  • Pre-Construction Phase Services may overlap with Construction Phase Services.

  • Pre-Construction Phase Services may overlap Construction Phase Services.

  • Contractor shall not make or be entitled to any claim for any adjustment to the Contract Time or the Contract Sum for Pre-Construction Phase Services or for Construction Phase Services arising from Project conditions that Contractor discovered or, in the exercise of reasonable care, should have discovered in Contractor’s investigation.

  • Contractor is not entitled to reimbursement for any costs incurred for Pre-Construction Phase Services performed before issuance of the written Notice to Proceed.

  • If this Contract is terminated for this reason, the Owner shall pay the CM for that portion of the Pre-Construction Phase Services fee as provided in Paragraph 19.2.2 and the Owner shall then have no further duties, responsibilities or financial obligations to the CM.

  • The CM shall review development of the GMP Proposal with the Owner on an ongoing basis from the beginning of Pre-Construction Phase Services to address clarifications of scope and pricing, distribution of contingencies, schedule, assumptions, exclusions, and other matters relevant to the establishment of a GMP.

  • Except as specifically allowed in paragraph 6.4, the CM shall not be entitled to any increase in the Pre-Construction Phase Fee for any costs, expenses, liabilities or other obligations arising from the performance of Pre-Construction Phase Services.

  • CM shall not make or be entitled to any claim for any adjustment to the Contract Time or to Pre-Construction Phase Services Fees or for Construction Phase Services costs or Fees arising from Project conditions that CM discovered or, in the exercise of reasonable care, should have discovered in CM’s obligatory investigations.

  • The Pre-Construction Phase Fee is the total compensation payable to the CM for the performance of Pre-Construction Phase Services, except for Additional Pre- Construction Phase Services (as defined below) approved in advance and in writing by the Owner.


More Definitions of Pre-Construction Phase Services

Pre-Construction Phase Services means the participation, documentation, and execution of the XXxX’x Pre-Construction Phase deliverables as required by the Contract Documents.
Pre-Construction Phase Services means all professional services required to fulfill the Basic Pre-Construction Phase and Additional Pre-Construction Phase Services, including, but not limited to, Schematic Design, Design Development, and Construction Documents and services and Work described in Article 5, whether performed before or after construction actually begins.
Pre-Construction Phase Services means the participation, documentation and execution of CMAR’s Pre-Construction Phase deliverables as required by this Agreement and further defined in Article 5. Due to the constraints of the Work Project Schedule, these Pre-Construction Phase Services are limited in nature and duration, and are established as a lump sum – paid on a percentage complete basis.
Pre-Construction Phase Services means the work products prepared by the CMARE in performing the Scope of Work, attached hereto and as described in this Contract.

Related to Pre-Construction Phase Services

  • Construction Phase Services means the coordination, implementation and execution of the Work required by this Agreement, which are further defined in Article 8.

  • Interconnection Construction Service Agreement means the agreement entered into by an Interconnection Customer, Interconnected Transmission Owner and the Transmission Provider pursuant to Tariff, Part VI, Subpart B and in the form set forth in Tariff, Attachment P, relating to construction of Attachment Facilities, Network Upgrades, and/or Local Upgrades and coordination of the construction and interconnection of an associated Customer Facility. A separate Interconnection Construction Service Agreement will be executed with each Transmission Owner that is responsible for construction of any Attachment Facilities, Network Upgrades, or Local Upgrades associated with interconnection of a Customer Facility. Interconnection Customer:

  • The constructional plant means all appliances, tools, plants or machinery or whatsoever nature required in or about the execution, completion or maintenance of the works but does not include materials or other things intended to form part of the permanent work.

  • Residential construction means construction on single-family or two-family dwellings occupied or used, or intended to be occupied or used, primarily for residential purposes, and includes real property pursuant to chapter 499B.

  • Construction Services means either of the following for construction-manager-at-risk, design-build and job-order-contracting project delivery methods:

  • Acquisition and Construction Fund means the fund so designated in, and created pursuant to, Section 502 hereof.

  • Building construction means any physical activity on the site involved in the erection of a structure, cladding, external finish, formwork, fixture, fitting of service installation and the unloading of plant, machinery, materials or the like.

  • New construction means, for the purposes of determining insurance rates, structures for which the “start of construction” commenced on or after the effective date of an initial FIRM or after December 31, 1974, whichever is later, and includes any subsequent improvements to such structures. For floodplain management purposes, new construction means structures for which the start of construction commenced on or after the effective date of a floodplain management regulation adopted by a community and includes any subsequent improvements to such structures.

  • Commence Construction means that an owner or operator has either undertaken a continuous program of construction or has entered into a contractual obligation to undertake and complete, within a reasonable time, a continuous program of construction.

  • Project Management Report means each report prepared in accordance with Section 4.02 of this Agreement;

  • Maintenance and Support Services means the services provided by Contractor under Appendix F.

  • Direct Construction Cost means the sum of the amounts that the Construction Manager actually and necessarily incurs for General Conditions Costs, Cost of the Work and Construction Manager’s Contingency during the Construction Phase as allowed by this Agreement. Direct Construction Cost does not include Pre-Construction Phase Fees or Construction Phase Fees.

  • Construction Service Agreement means either an Interconnection Construction Service Agreement or an Upgrade Construction Service Agreement.

  • Existing construction means any structure for which the "start of construction" commenced before the effective date of the initial floodplain management code or ordinance adopted by the community as a basis for that community's participation in the NFIP.

  • Construction Plant means appliances, machinery with necessary supply to up keep and maintenance of the works or temporary works but dose not include materials or other things intended to form part of the permanent work.

  • Commencement of Construction means the commencement of construction of foundation components or elements (such as footings, rafts or piles) for the home.

  • Limited Resource Constraint means, for the 2017/2018 Delivery Year and for FRR Capacity Plans the 2017/2018 and Delivery Years, for the PJM Region or each LDA for which the Office of the Interconnection is required under Tariff, Attachment DD, section 5.10(a) to establish a separate VRR Curve for a Delivery Year, a limit on the total amount of Unforced Capacity that can be committed as Limited Demand Resources for the 2017/2018 Delivery Year in the PJM Region or in such LDA, calculated as the Limited Demand Resource Reliability Target for the PJM Region or such LDA, respectively, minus the Short Term Resource Procurement Target for the PJM Region or such LDA, respectively.

  • Commissioning Tests means all of the procedures and tests which, in accordance with the Reasonable and Prudent Standard, and in compliance with industry guidelines, practices and standards, are:
