Common use of Paid In-Service Day Clause in Contracts

Paid In-Service Day. All members of the bargaining unit shall be required to attend one paid in-service day per school year within their respective skill areas provided appropriate classes are available in the area. The Superintendent may limit the number of bargaining unit members who may be absent on any one day when qualified substitutes are not available.
