Paid Position. If a student intern will be paid for an internship position offered pursuant to this Agreement, the intern will be a non-exempt employee of Clinical Training Site, which shall be responsible for providing to the intern all applicable wages, benefits, statutory withholdings, workers’ compensation benefits, and other employment benefits required by applicable law. Clinical Training Site shall determine the hourly or other compensation paid to the intern. Clinical Training Site determines the schedule that the intern will maintain, but commits to a schedule that is sufficiently flexible to allow the intern to participate in any required internship meetings and required UVU academic classes and/or coursework.

  • New Position An approved position not reflected in the current year budget complement.

  • New Positions A. Each newly created position shall be assigned by the Employer to the national craft unit most appropriate for such position within thirty (30) days after its creation. Before such assignment of each new position the Employer shall consult with the Union for the purpose of assigning the new position to the national craft unit most appropriate for such position. The following criteria shall be used in making this determination:

  • Vacant Position An approved position which is reflected in the budget complement, which may have been vacated due to death, resignation, retirement, non-renewal, termination, or reassignment.

  • Return to Position Upon return from FMLA leave, the employee shall be returned to the same or equivalent position in the same class and work location, including the same shift or equivalent schedule, unless the University and the employee agree in writing to other conditions and terms under which such leave is to be granted.

  • Position Level Select whether the employee's position level is one of the following: 6a. Non supervisory - Anyone who does not have supervisory/team leader responsibilities.

  • Float Positions The Employer may establish regular float positions which are consecutive hour shifts.

  • Vacant Positions An employee on the reinstatement roster may bid on a vacant position in a different classification in the same manner as any other regular employee pursuant to this agreement.

  • Permanent Positions All part-time and full-time positions shall be permanent unless identified as being fixed term in accordance with clause 2.2.5.
