Common use of Paid Time Off in Lieu of Worked Overtime Clause in Contracts

Paid Time Off in Lieu of Worked Overtime. Subject to the Employer’s operational requirements, employees may consider paid time off in lieu of worked overtime. Time off will only be taken upon mutual agreement between the employee and his/her Supervisor, provided that any unused banked time will be paid out once yearly at a time to be determined by the Employer. Paid time off shall be provided at the same rate as the applicable overtime rates.
