Common use of Parental Leave and Other Leave Entitlements Clause in Contracts

Parental Leave and Other Leave Entitlements. Provided the aggregate of any leave, including leave taken under Parental Leave, does not exceed the period to which the employee is entitled, an employee may, in lieu of or in conjunction with Maternity Leave, take any annual leave or long service leave or any part thereof to which they are entitled. Paid personal leave or other paid authorised absences (excluding annual leave or long service leave) will not be available to an employee during their absence on Parental Leave.
