Common use of Participation on Committees Clause in Contracts

Participation on Committees. 1. Employee participation on District committees shall be on a voluntary basis, unless there are no volunteers in which case the Superintendent may, after consultation with the Association President, appoint employees to serve. 2. If a District committee meets during normal work hours of the employee at the site, employees on the committee shall be released from regular duties during the committee meeting time without loss of pay or benefits.
