Life The City shall pay one hundred percent (100%) of the monthly premium for a $50,000 life insurance policy with accidental death and dismemberment, for each member of the bargaining unit.
Basic Life Insurance 37.1 The Employer shall pay one hundred percent (100%) of the monthly premium of the basic life insurance plan.
Contribution Formula - Basic Life Coverage For employee basic life coverage and accidental death and dismemberment coverage, the Employer contributes one-hundred (100) percent of the cost.
Premium Pay “Premium Pay” is a special pay rate for working during times that are less desirable, such as weekends, holidays or late shifts. The City will not pay the Consultant Premium Pay.
Basic Life If an employee is not actively at work on the initial effective date of coverage, coverage will be effective on the first day of the employee’s return to work. The effective date of a change in coverage is not delayed in the event that, on the date the coverage change would be effective, an employee is on an unpaid leave of absence or layoff.
Life Insurance No portion of your IRA may be invested in life insurance contracts.
Productivity Allowance A productivity allowance per hour worked will be paid to employees engaged upon construction work from the date of agreement. This allowance will not be subject to penalty addition and shall be in lieu of all or any Parent Award disability allowances, with the exception of the multi-storey allowance. Site/Project Allowances will be paid in addition to the productivity allowance where such an addition is either:
Longevity Pay If an employee leaves State Classified employment and later is rehired, he/she shall receive no longevity pay. However, once such a rehired employee has been in pay status for five (5) years, all previous service time shall be credited for longevity pay. The only exception shall be for employees rehired who repay severance pay received. (See Article 22, Section Q.)
Payment Options The exercise price shall be paid by one or any combination of the following forms of payment that are applicable to this option, as indicated on the cover page hereof:
Pay Period The term “pay period” denotes compensation earned during the first (1st) day through the fifteenth (15th) day of each calendar month, or compensation earned during the sixteenth (16th) day through the last day of each calendar month. There shall be twenty four (24) pay periods in each calendar year.
