Pay Rates definition

Pay Rates shall be the top of scale hourly rates of pay excluding Premiums.
Pay Rates. The pay rates set forth in Appendix A are base pay rates. No employee shall be paid at a rate above the maximum or below the minimum in the range to which the position class is assigned.

Any COLA that becomes effective on or after July 1, 2022, shall apply to the base pay rates as adjusted pursuant to this subparagraph. b. Effective the first full pay period following July 1, 2022, there will be a two and one-half percent (2.5%) COLA for each position listed in Appendix A, and each base salary provided, however, that if the CPI indicated in Appendix A is three percent (3.0%) or greater, all employees shall receive a three percent (3.0%) COLA. c. Effective the first full pay period following July 1, 2023, there will be a two and one-half percent (2.5%) COLA for each position listed in Appendix A, and each base salary provided, however, that if the CPI indicated in Appendix A is three percent (3.0%) or greater, all employees shall receive a three percent (3.0%)

More Definitions of Pay Rates

Pay Rates. The pay rates set forth in Appendix "A" are base pay rates for full-time service. No employee shall be paid at a rate above the maximum or below the minimum in the range to which employee’s position class is assigned. a. Effective the first full pay period following January 1, 2016July 1, 2017, (retro-active to the beginning of the first full pay period following July 1, 2017) pay rates and pay scales will be increased one and one-half percent (1.5%) one point eight percent (1.8%) above the pay rates and scales in effect on June 30, 2015January 9, 2017. b. Pay Rates means the base hourly rate which an employee is paid based on their industry award or the minimum wage according to the national minimum wage order released by the Fair Work Commission.

Effective the first full pay period following July 1, 2021 (retroactive to the beginning of the first full pay period following July 1, 2021), an additional two and one-half percent (2.5%) shall be added to the top of the pay range for each position class. This additional two and one-half percent (2.5%) shall be added after the increase to base pay rates described above.
